White Port

The Porto Tonico emerged from Lisbon and Porto's terrace bar culture and was codified into a tourism event (annual Porto Tonico Festival in the Ribeira district). Portugal's Aperol Spritz equivalent — introduced a category most guests didn't know they loved, at ~7–8% ABV after dilution. Taylor's Chip Dry was specifically designed for this serve.

Flavor Profile

Citrus, almond, honey (dry styles); sweeter versions add more stone fruit and peach character. Light-colored, aperitif-friendly, without the brooding darkness of red Port.
