Flavored Vodka — Traditional (Infused/Macerated)
Traditional Eastern European vodka infusion dates to the Polish nalewka tradition (infused spirits produced for centuries). The most famous survivor is Żubrówka, first documented in the 16th century; the bison grass comes from the Białowieża Forest — the last primeval forest in Europe. Starka, the oak-aged variant, represents vodka's lost branch: a spirit that became whiskey before whiskey existed as a category.
