Rum - Light white (charcoal-filtered) 1-3 year old
CorePuerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Trinidad, Barbados
Famous For
ABV37.5-40%. Almost always bottled at 40%. Some export markets allow 37.5%.
Tasting Notes
Clean, neutral, light sweetness, faint vanilla, ethanol, white pepper, sugarcane water. The point is what it does NOT taste like — it should not have heavy funk, dark fruit, or oak. If it does, it was not filtered properly or it is mislabeled. Plantation 3 Stars and Probitas show what happens when you blend characterful rums and still keep it light.
