Tasting Notes
Bitter orange peel, sweet citrus oil, vanilla (in cognac-based versions). Color varies by variant (cosmetic). Quality versions show genuine orange-peel bitterness alongside sweetness. Pierre Ferrand shows cognac richness — dried fruit, oak, orange zest. Cheap versions are orange-flavored sugar water. The Senior & Co product from the actual island of Curaçao has a unique, slightly wild orange character from real Lahara peels.
