quinquinacinchona bitter
Tasting Notes
Chinchona bark, bitter orange, gentian root, honey, warm spice. The quinine bitterness ranges from subtle (Lillet) to assertive (Bigallet). Wine-based versions show floral-citrus; spirit-based versions show darker herbal depth. Amber to deep brown depending on production. The defining experience is 'elevated tonic water' — familiar quinine bitterness wrapped in more complexity. Finish is long, bitter-clean, with citrus lingering.
