Tasting Notes

Green herb, black pepper, eucalyptus, wet stone, campfire smoke, vegetal, leather, dried herbs, slight menthol. Arrequeno is one of the more savory, herbaceous agave species. Compared to espadni: less sweet, more green, more complex. Each palenquero's arrequeno tastes different based on terroir and roasting method.
